Disposable cameras on the tables

The traditional answer, and there is real charm in it. There is also the part nobody mentions: the cost, the developing, and the fact that most of the frames come back unusable.

When disposable cameras are the better choice

Nothing digital replaces the object. A film camera on the table is something people pick up out of curiosity, and the imperfect, grainy, badly-lit results have a character that a phone photo does not. If that look is the point - and for plenty of weddings it genuinely is - use them. The two combine well: cameras for the feel, a code for the coverage.

Where Snappio is different

You see what you gotNo waiting a fortnight to find out the reception was too dark. The photos are there the same night.
It does not run outA disposable stops at 27 frames whether the night has started or not.
The cost does not scale by tableTen tables means ten cameras and ten developing charges. Here it means ten codes.

Common questions

Can we do both?

Yes, and it is a good combination. The cameras give you the look; the code makes sure you still have photos of the speeches if the film does not come out.

Will guests actually use a QR code?

In practice they use it more than the cameras, because the phone is already in their hand. The camera has to be picked up; the code just has to be noticed.
